What do you do when someone falls down?

When someone falls, what do you do? At this point I'm sure many of you have heard about the unfortunate incidents at Astroworld in Houston. An occasion that so many people take as a stress relief, attending a concert, ended up with multiple lives lost, solely because people in all levels of the event didn't pay attention to anyone except themselves. 

This weekend Mr. O and I went for our delayed 5th anniversary trip (our May 2020 event was postponed because of Covid) to Welcome to Rockville, a 4 day music festival. Needless to say, the Astroworld event was not what we wanted to see a week before going to our own festival. But what if did was make people more conscientious. At least 7 or 8 bands we saw reminded people to look out for each other. They reminded us that when someone falls down, you pick them up. It doesn't matter if it's someone you know or not. It doesn't matter their gender, the color of their skin, their religion, their political affiliation. The RIGHT thing to do is to pick up someone who goes down, in any situation. 

Let's spend more time asking ourself if we're doing the RIGHT thing, you know… integrity? Let's spend more time looking out for each other, instead of worrying solely about ourselves. Integrity means knowing right from wrong AND doing the right thing when no one is watching. Have you been practicing this tenet daily?
